PD Shirt Fundraiser

Interfaith Ministries refugee services program, in conjunction with the U.S. State Department and td Episcopal Migration Ministries, resettles refugees fleeing their homeland in fear of political, social, or religious persecution. Refugee Services works to ensure that every client feels welcomed upon arrival, becomes self-sufficient within six months, and ultimately becomes a productive member of the Houston Community.
Today, there are an estimated 25 million refugees worldwide , over half of who are under the age of 18. Women and children constitute the majority of these displaces people. Each year, hundreds of these refugee families arrive in Houston through Interfaith Ministries.
Refugees helped come from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Burma, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Cuba, El Salvador, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Honduras, Kenya, Pakistan, Russian, Venezuela, Vietnam, Iraq, Senegal, Syria, and Ukraine.
