We’d like your help greeting new employees in our updated welcome video for those onboarding with the City of Houston. Anyone interested may send us a quick video taken with your cellphone saying, “Welcome to the City of Houston.”

And to demonstrate the strength of our diversity, as we draw our workforce from this multicultural city, feel free to record your greeting in any language — English, Spanish, or one of the dozens of other languages spoken here.

What we are looking for:

• A quick video taken with your cellphone in a well-lit area. It can be in the office or outside.
• Hold the cellphone sideways in horizontal landscape orientation.
• You can record your greeting as an individual or in small work clusters.
• Look at the camera and say “Welcome to the City of Houston” — or a similar greeting — with a smile and enthusiasm.
• Feel free to speak in any language. We hope to demonstrate the cultural diversity our workforce.
