HR Communications earns 4 APEX awards for publication excellence

The Human Resources Communications division’s efforts to inform and engage the City of Houston’s 20,000-plus employees reached an even wider audience.

Communications Concepts Inc., a nationwide public relations and marketing consulting organization, awarded HR Communications with four APEX Awards for Publication Excellence for City Savvy, Benefits Pulse and the overall program design for the 2016 Combined Municipal Campaign.

Now in its 28th year, APEX awards recognizes excellence in graphic design, editorial content and overall communications effectiveness. Only 86 APEX Grand Awards and 632 Awards of Excellence were presented out of more than 1,600 entries nationwide.
