By now no one needs to tell you how hot this past summer was (it was BAD!). Alice Moore-Baines took the time to share her experience with a Houston Health Department clerk who went above and beyond to ensure seniors had a “cool summer.”
Dear Mr. Mayor,
I would like to recognize and celebrate the outstanding efforts of a remarkable individual who has truly gone above and beyond in our organization's mission to serve the community. It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt kudos to Mr. Kenneth Starling, HHD Senior Inventory Management clerk, for his exceptional contributions to the "Beat the Heat" program.
In recent months, our program aimed at assisting seniors in their time of need has seen a significant boost in its impact, thanks in no small part to the extraordinary dedication of individuals like Kenneth. We often hear about going the extra mile, but Kenneth has demonstrated what it truly means to exceed expectations.
Kenneth's dedication to the Beat the Heat program has been nothing short of remarkable. Not only did he load in vehicle’s an astonishing 510 portable AC units to be distributed to our senior citizens, but he also embarked on home visits to ensure that our seniors received the necessary support tailored to their individual needs. This personal touch has undoubtedly made a world of difference in the lives of those we serve.
Kenneth is not just a hard worker; he is a team player through and through. His upbeat attitude and unwavering commitment have not only motivated those around him but have set a shining example for all of us to follow. In the face of challenges and demanding circumstances, Kenneth has maintained the utmost professionalism and a consistently fast-paced work ethic, ensuring that our seniors receive their much-needed relief promptly.
The most heartwarming aspect of Kenneth's dedication is the gratitude he has earned from the seniors he has assisted. Their appreciation is a testament to the positive impact he has made on their lives, and it serves as a reminder of the importance of our mission.
Kenneth Starling’s efforts have been nothing short of extraordinary, and it has been a pleasure to work alongside him. His unwavering commitment to the community, upbeat spirit, and professional demeanor exemplify the qualities we hold dear in our organization. He has set a standard of excellence that we can all strive to achieve.
Thank you,
Alice Moore-Baines
