The saying, “it’s in the details” was highlighted when Houston resident Beverly Sadler Adjei wrote to the mayor’s office to express her appreciation about a recent sewer line replacement in her neighborhood. This is what she wrote:
Good morning,
I could not allow the year to end without expressing appreciation for the professional way in which two City Sewer Inspector Supervisors - Frederick Perry and Omar- explained, did follow-up and worked with field workers during the recent replacement of the city's sewer line at my residence.
We hired and paid a professional plumbing company to replace our residential sewer line. In additional this same company installed two cleanouts (city & residential), and used pipes guaranteed to last for half a century. I really didn't want the city messing up my sewer line or my nice grass.
These two men explained and assured the new pipes were just as good as the pipes installed by the plumbing company. They have also assured that the soil will be cared for and the grass will be replaced.
I thanked them for the integrity they displayed, their patience, their knowledge and help.
If I had a complaint, I would contact your office, so it's equally important to contact your office with compliments.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
