No matter how to call, dealing with solid waste is always a messy job. It’s also why Houston resident German Mora went out of his way to sing the praises of one supervisor with the Solid Waste Department. He writes:
“I just wanted to thank the City of Houston for addressing the issue of improper waste disposal swiftly and professionally.
Mr. Terrance Reed (Solid Waste Supervisor) was very cordial and apologetic about the situation and emphasized the goal of the City of Houston is to be clean for all its inhabitants, not just the ones that live in much nicer neighborhoods.
The entire community of Bleker Street, and myself, appreciate this very much and look forward to continued support from the city when necessary.
I hope you all have an amazing weekend.”
