311 praised for quick, concise answer to resident’s question

A Houston resident needed to have repair work done on the curb in front of her house. She just didn’t know where to turn. So she dialed 311. It turned out to be a good call.

“I submitted help from 311 regarding damage to my curb from a neighbor,” wrote Charlotte Jolivet. “I would like to give them props for their quick response both by email and a follow up phone call.

“I’m very pleased with the way they handled this request and wanted to compliment them. They let me know that I am responsible for repairs to my curb, which I think my neighbor should be held responsible, but they took it seriously and contacted me.”

Jolivet said she contacted her homeowners’ association and was awaiting their response.
