HPD officer is a pillar in the community

Ms. Evangelia Macklin stopped by the Mayor’s Office requesting a letter of commendation for HPD Senior Officer, Aldrin Sampson, Badge 6802.

According to Macklin, "SPO Sampson is not only a great public servant for 22 years while on duty for the City of Houston, but he’s a pillar in his community and church. SPO Sampson serves as a deacon at City Cathedral Church located 3701 Elgin Street."

Macklin who is disabled and wheelchair bound explained that whenever she sees SPO Sampson on or off duty, "he’s always assisting individuals."

"As a member at the City Cathedral Church, I've noticed how patient SPO Sampson is with the entire congregation, especially the seniors and people with disabilities," said Macklin

Macklin referred to HPD Senior Officer as a "gentle giant and feels he needs to be made aware of the impact that he has on the citizens of Houston."
