Houston firefighters successfully rescued two window washers on Monday, January 11, when scaffolding gave way and dangled precariously outside the 71st floor of the JP Morgan Chase Tower.
The rescue was completed in about an hour when firefighters removed one of the windows, secured the window washers and brought them to safety. Nobody was injured.
The 75-story Chase Tower is the tallest building in Houston, the tallest in Texas and the tallest five-sided building in the world.
