Each year, we select PSRW Coordinators from each city department to assist with Public Service Recognition Week. PSRW Coordinators play a valuable role in assisting with the preparations needed to celebrate and recognize more than 25,000 city employees who have chosen to serve their city. We understand this is voluntary position and appreciate coordinators efforts to highlight public service here in the city.
Coordinators are responsible for the following tasks leading up to and during Public Service Recognition Week:
- Informing their department of upcoming PSWR events
- Assisting with the Mayor Service Awards
- Assisting with PSWR Field Day and associated activities
- Distributing service award pins and certificates
- Additional Information
Marketing material will be provided to coordinators to advertise any upcoming PSRW events. Coordinators will be able to download flyers for printing, distribution, and advertising. All other information regarding coordinator tasks and PSRW events dates, times, and locations will be available on the PSRW website. Be on the look out for weekly PSWR emails for important updates and information.
