Instructions for searching for a CMC agency on the ESS portal

To find these agencies on the CMC form in the ESS portal:

• Click on the double-square icon in the first row to go directly to the Search Criteria page and click Show Search Criteria

• To search for an agency by code, in the Payee field, enter CMC + 4-digit code, for example: CMC1000, and click Start Search. If this is the agency you wish to donate to, click the name of the agency and it will auto-populate on the form.

• To search for an agency by name, in the Name field, enter an asterisk + search term + another asterisk, for example: *children*, and click Start Search. If this is the agency you wish to donate to, click the name of the agency and it will auto-populate on the form

• Once in Search Criteria, you can sort by agency code or by agency name by clicking on the column titles, Payee or Name.

• If you wish to donate to more than one agency, Click on Add Row and then click on the double-square icon and complete the steps to elect up to 10 agencies total
