The Combined Municipal Campaign allows city employees to demonstrate their strong sense of community by supporting environmental, health and social welfare issues that concern the citizens of Houston.

Starting in October 2022, the Combined Municipal Campaign will moving to the online platform, Bright Funds. This means that agencies will no longer have to apply to be part of the campaign. Bright Funds pulls their list of eligible agencies from GuideStar, so more than 1 million options are available to employees. Bright Funds will be implemented on October 1, but you can view and search for agencies now.

Tips for agencies

  • Sign up for Bright Network to set up ACH and see donor reports.
  • Review your Bright Funds profile and make sure your logo and other features are updated.
  • Contact Jennifer.Cobb@houstontx.gov to be included in our agency spotlight in the monthly employee CMC Newsletter.
  • Collect auction items, or contact vendors for donations of auction items for the annual CMC Auction. Make sure to fill out the online form and turn it in with each item you donate.
