Rise Against Hunger  (EIN 161541024)
 Briefly describe your mission.

Rise Against Hunger is growing a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies.

Who does your agency help?

Impacting remote, last-mile communities often overlooked by global media can feel daunting. With your help, we can continue to step into these grassroots communities with hope and help.

Why should a City of Houston employee give to your organization?

We are nourishing lives through safety nets, responding to emergencies with crisis relief, empowering communities through agriculture and income-generating initiatives, and growing the movement by building momentum and action for ending hunger.

What is something unique about your agency?

Our vision: a world without hunger. Hunger impacts everything from health to education to economics. From the implementation of sustainable community development projects to our meal packaging program that harnesses the passion of local volunteers, we strive to make an impact on hunger by building resilience, self-sufficiency and empowerment in communities worldwide.

Who should City employees contact if they want more information?

Contact our federation, Global Impact, at engage@charity.org.
