Bernadette Lenahan wrote to Mayor Turner to compliment 311 telecommunicator Sarai Hernandez and Houston Public Works staff for efficiently responding to her pothole complaint.
Here's what she had to say:
"I really thought it would take months to fix this pothole, I know the city is short staffed and overwhelmed with Harvey repairs. I am thrilled to tell you, this pothole is filled! Great job by 311, great job by Public Works crews," she wrote. "I heard that you had promised quick pothole repair when you became mayor, but with all the Harvey damage, I didn't think the city could keep that up, your team did! A huge Texas thank you!"
