Penny Harris wrote to Mayor Sylvester Turner to thank Meka Southward for her assistance in resolving an unusually high water bill.

“Meka answered the high bill inquiry phone line when I called to question why my current water bill was 3 ½ times higher than last month. She looked up my account and explained exactly on which dates the three unusual spikes in consumption had occurred. She spoke in a concise, clear and professional but pleasant and friendly manner throughout the conversation.”
“When neither of us could pinpoint a reason for the unusual usage on those dates Meka offered a solution that was agreeable to both of us. We are going forward with her proposal. I hung up the phone feeling satisfied.”
