After Larry McWherter’s West Houston neighborhood flooded in Hurricane Harvey, a contractor mishap broke an internal waterline. McWherter praised a Houston Public Works crew - Darrell Based, Thurston Potts and Anthony East - for making repairs quickly with minimal damage or interruption of water service to the neighborhood. He also expressed his gratitude for customer service from Kevin Marshall, a 3-1-1 telecommunicator.
“The crew was great, replaced the valve with years of experience without digging out the pit, our neighborhood had water and the city was served by an intelligent and experienced crew. They deserved a note of thanks. I truly appreciate their excellent service from the city.”
