Parks employee helps flood survivor find resources

A Houston resident affected by Hurricane Harvey wrote to Mayor Turner to thank Karmelette Rice, a Houston Parks and Recreation Department employee.   

"Your customer service and professionalism is to be commended," the resident told Rice. "You went above and beyond the call of duty. The assistance with Emergemcy food stamps, Red Cross and clothing assistance was helpful and appreciated. You were a wealth of information .Again thank you and your department for assisting me. I also really appreciated your follow up call."
