The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) and the Houston Commission on Disabilities (HCOD) will participate in the Abilities Expo August 4 – 6 on from 11 .m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
This free event will be held at the NRG Center, Hall E and will feature the latest products and services, expert-led workshops, one-on-one engagement, adaptive sports and dance, service animals and more.
For more than 30 years, Abilities Expo has served the community of people with disabilities, their families, seniors, veterans and healthcare professionals. The event introduces new technologies, solutions and opportunities to enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
