Regardless, almost suddenly, the approaching health assessment deadline now looms large — almost as large as the medical rate discount people will miss if they don’t obtain their biometric numbers and complete their assessment.
This year’s Feb. 2 deadline is later than usual, pushed back several months due to the general disruption caused by Hurricane Harvey’s historic flooding.
Nevertheless, thousands of city employees and covered spouses have yet to complete their health assessments and now have only a few days left.
The good news is twofold: there are a still several days left, and the assessment is generally quick and easy.

Step 1: Login to MyCigna.com
Step 2: Click on MyHealth at the top of page
Step 3: Click on “Take My Health Assessment”
Step 4: Click on “Retake My Assessment”
Step 5: Follow the instructions on the screen
